SIMApps are essentially web app’s, providing a user friendly interface, wrapped around decades of simulation expertise and powerful underlying simulation technology. They consist of bespoke back-end simulation software which seamlessly receives the specified input parameters, performs the simulation and then returns the required results. A front-end web interface provides the client with a very simplified simulation experience, requiring no previous knowledge of simulation techniques to perform the simulations.

CFDApps provide bespoke engineering simulations of fluid flows using a computer simulation method known as Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD). This method produces detailed knowledge of fluid flow through or around an object or groups of objects and predicts important performance characteristics such as velocity, pressures, concentrations and fluid-dynamic forces. This knowledge is then used to optimise the geometry of fluid related products by making them more aerodynamic and hydrodynamic, leading to reduced energy loss and increased performance.

FEAApps provide bespoke engineering simulations of structural components using a computer simulation method known as Finite Element Analysis (FEA). This approach produces detailed knowledge of the structural response of a component to applied external forces, displacements and thermal loadings. The method predicts important performance characteristics such as stress levels, stress concentrations, thermal expansion and deformations. This knowledge is then used to optimise the geometry of the structural related products by making them lighter and stronger leading to reduced material usage and a longer product lifetime.

CAEApps provide bespoke engineering simulations and solutions to a wide range of other engineering problems utilising various other computer simulation methods and mathematical modelling techniques such as Digital Twins, AI/Machine Learning and Big Data. These problems typically cover areas such as automation, optimisation and experimentation.
