Introducing our Unique Suite of Simulation Apps – SIMApps!

Simulation Technologies Ltd creates bespoke simulation products known as SIMApps, encompassing the three SIMApps brands described below. SIMApps are essentially Web Apps, providing a simplified user friendly interface, wrapped around decades of simulation expertise and powerful underlying simulation technology.

SIMApps technology is based upon our secure, powerful and highly flexible plug-and-play simulation framework. The simulation framework facilitates deployment and management of our SIMApps and allows our clients to perform and direct their own simulations. Creation and incorporation of new bespoke SIMApps is then a streamlined process and is greatly simplified. New SIMApps can be simply plugged in to the simulation framework and are instantly ready to use.

Our clients provide the simulation problem, Simulation Technologies Ltd then determines the most appropriate simulation methodology and creates a back-end simulation package. A bespoke front-end visualisation package is developed in parallel, its sole purpose being to provide the client with a very simplified simulation experience.

SIMApps allow the selection of only the simulation parameters that are required and present only the useful results that the client wants to see. In this way, little experience is required to perform the simulations and understand the actual simulation results.

In use, the front-end accepts the specified input parameters and passes the request to the simulation framework. The back-end simulation package seamlessly receives the specified input parameters from the simulation framework, performs the simulation and then returns the required results back to the front-end via the simulation framework. The whole process is self-contained and can be initiated with the single press of a button!

SIMApps can be hosted on our own encrypted virtual servers, which, allows a personalised and fully customisable cloud solution. The exact virtual server (RAM/CPU’s) required for the problem can be selected for the case at hand, leading to a reduction of wasted resources. A subscription service (SaaS) billing option spreads the cost of the simulation over a period of time allowing the costs to be classified as an ongoing expense rather than a capital item. Alternatively, our SIMApps may be run as a standalone solution and can be purchased as part of your investment into simulation technologies.

CFDApps provide bespoke engineering simulations of fluid flows using a computer simulation method known as Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD). This method produces detailed knowledge of fluid flow through or around an object or groups of objects and predicts important performance characteristics. Read more
